New York City: a citywide conversation around longevity and prevention
In New York City, City Ambassador Karen Ballou, founder of Immunocologie Skincare, is bringing together wellness clinics, practitioners, therapists and health leaders for a citywide celebration focused on health, prevention, the microbiome and longevity.
The programme will explore longevity and preventative health, skin health and healthy aging, nutrition and gut health, stress management and mindfulness, fitness and movement, sleep optimization, mental wellbeing, recovery and resilience, and healthy lifestyle education.

South Carolina: Charleston puts community and industry at the center
In Charleston, South Carolina, the South Carolina Wellness Weekend will take place September 18–19, 2026, at the historic Francis Marion Hotel, hosted by The Spa of Charleston. Presented by State Ambassador Dayleann Vallejo, the two-day programme will bring together wellness professionals, local businesses, health experts, fitness leaders, beauty brands, educators and community organizations.

Fitness becomes a community resource
Ohana Growth Partners, owner and operator of 98 Planet Fitness locations, all designated WWW Wellness Champions, will open its clubs to local communities with complimentary three-day passes from Friday through Sunday. Participants will have access to fitness facilities, small-group training, HydroMassage and massage chairs, with certified trainers available during regularly scheduled Friday hours.

Wellness enters the workplace
Gloria Treister, Ohio State Ambassador, is collaborating with the Global Wellness Institute's Workplace Wellbeing Initiative to encourage companies to organize employee activities such as Brain Boosting Bingo, Chair Yoga and Breathwork.

Technology meets skin health
Another US highlight comes from Skin Authority, whose CEO and Founder Celeste Hilling will offer complimentary skin health assessments at 15 partnering spas.
The assessments use Skin Scan™ imaging, incorporating generative AI, image analysis and deep learning to scan and interpret skin conditions and provide personalized, data-driven insights into skin health and potential concerns.

A national movement with a local purpose
Across the US, the 2026 programme illustrates how wellness is increasingly becoming a vehicle for community connection, prevention, accessibility, resilience and social impact.
World Wellness Weekend is also collaborating with Pace e Bene's Campaign Nonviolence, whose 2026 banner is “WE HAVE SOLUTIONS.” The joint initiative encourages people to organize wellness events and community actions to Reflect, Educate and Act around nonviolent solutions.

Five Pillars. One Weekend. A nationwide invitation
World Wellness Weekend is built around five interconnected pillars: Sleep & Creativity, Nutrition & Vitality, Movement & Mobility, Sense of Purpose & Solidarity, and Serenity & Equality.
For its 10th anniversary edition, the initiative is inviting Americans to discover wellness not simply as a personal luxury, but as something that can be experienced through movement, connection, prevention, nature, creativity, community and everyday habits.
“The US edition of our 10th World Wellness Weekend demonstrates how diverse the wellness movement has become,” says Jean-Guy de Gabriac, Founder of World Wellness Weekend. “From major hotel and spa groups to fitness clubs, workplaces and local communities, wellness is becoming increasingly accessible, social and meaningful. Our goal is to inspire people to experience wellbeing together and to make it part of everyday life.”
